南印名菜Mulligatawny(泰米尔语意为“胡椒水”)经常被英国厨子发挥成乱炖,加苹果的有之、加南瓜的有之,甚至还有人加米饭进去煮。
缅甸兼具前英殖领地和印度邻国双重身份,两则缅甸版胡椒水仿佛也是咖喱乱炖,本地改良版比英式多了北印人才用的葫芦巴子和小扁豆,英式则放了椰奶和椰浆,还原度更高咯。
